The only goal is to survive the 15 minutes. The MC mobs being in the relative position where they were MC'd was a design choice, you can use Q and E to orbit them. The thought process there, and this is definitely to your point about the "book" idea was that if you're quick with it, you can set it up where your melee/shield mobs are in the outer perimeter of your influence circle and your shooting guys are near the middle so you kind of have a meat shield going. I think a general tutorial and better control scheme would be good starting places
