Thanks IndieRetro. The level drawing and adventurer George character and some of the menu pages were done in the 90,s. I finished converting the drawing to tiles and did the intro anim and the win/over screens and finished building the levels this year. Because Backbone doesn't provide for layering backgrounds, the whole page has to be tiles (500 - 32 colour -16x16 tiles per level was the most backbone could handle) wow, which of course slows it down on a stock Amiga. But accelerate it with some fast ram and it moves pretty quick. Also you'll notice evreything that shoots is shooting the bird poop. ha ha ha, There should be water drops, lava bubbles, spider webs and flames shooting throughout, but Backbone will only assign the bird poop (which was the first weapon shot) to every object that shoots regardless of what I assign. Oh well, at least they shoot. lol
