A couple of questions. What Windows operating system are you on? Did you extract the contents from the downloaded ZIP file? If you had a previous version of the game, did you make sure to delete it beforehand? Any error messages?
Yep. I've known games made with Ren'Py tend not to work when you have two different versions/builds overlapping each other. I always delete the previous version before downloading the new one. A complete manual update. Good to know your game works now. I'm glad to have been of some assistance!
