They couldn't in this situation as even if you snag the files from Chapter 3 they wouldn't have a way to pull all the information needed from the game itself, they would need to get the actual model sheets to be able to rig them. They had back ups on MEGA, but something happened where the backup got lost. But the good news is at least they have the temp characters until they get their hard drives back
