Another great game from machinescreen. I'm a fan of games that let you explore what to do rather than telling you and just like in Stratum it does exactly that with a similarly eerie atmosphere and your only relief being the uplifting menu music.
While I enjoyed the experience as a whole the beginning feels a bit slow and grindy. I think the radius in which you pick up the coin in the manual mode could be slightly bigger. Maybe increasing the size of the radius in manual mode as another unlockable ability before unlocking auto pickup could make the progression to a fast paced labyrinth run smoother.
As soon as you start unlocking the abilities and glow sticks from the menu though the game becomes pretty addictive. I maxed out all abilities/items and even went for a few extra runs. I like that I could somewhat memorize the labyrinth as well and that it doesn't change structure.
In the end you feel pretty invincible and apart from wishing the ending would reveal some sort of fate for your character it left me quite satisfied with my experience. I played for roughly 40 minutes give or take and the overall progression of the entire game for the amount of time I played felt nice apart form the above mentioned criticism.
