And yes, I completely agree with you regarding the character alignment and connection feedback. Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time during the jam to fully polish that system across all levels, so in many situations the players are technically connected even if the visual feedback doesn’t communicate it perfectly yet.

I also plan to improve the movement readability and overall feedback in future updates.

About the movement blocking: you directly control Player 1, the one with the arrow above their head, while the second character reacts in the opposite direction. So even if the main player has space to move, the action can still be blocked if the mirrored movement would cause the second player to collide with something.
