Very fun game. I wasn't entirely sure what i was doing as the level up screen popped up so fast, but I was very impressed by how much stuff there was to do.
Lots of shops and funny dialogue. I can definitely see this becoming a full game. Great job!

Appreciate the feedback, thank you. The levelling speed got a bit out of whack because of wanting a tight loop for the gamejam and not having enough game feel testing time because of scope creep. Once we start building it out further we'll definitely do some rebalancing as well, for now just a couple bug fixes.
