too many issues with the intro. the MC was carrying a weapon (ie the bottle of wine) so why not hit the bad guy with that? Especially since the bad guy was larger than the MC. When you are knocked unconscious you lose memory. So there is no way the first action is to strike the officer. If the MC didn't lose consciousness then why was he not fighting back? The officers never approach an unconscious individual like that. The officers would normally call for an ambulance if they thought it was needed. Lastly even from their brief view of the situation the bad guy was suspect. Why did neither officer chase the individual that ran?
