I'm having trouble getting this game to run on Linux, are there any special settings I should have enabled while using Wine/Bottles to emulate the .exe?
If you're using Linux, Proton works fine for me. Try that, and you should be fine.
Which version of Proton?
I don't really think it matters; any should suffice.
Maybe I did something wrong when I installed it. I can't get it to work no matter which version of Proton I use.
Well, let me see which version I use, it's been working for me for a few years. I'm using Proton 8.0-5 and I have no issues.
