SMB is one of my favorite games ever and seeing this on my favorite console just made my jaw drop. I think it already looks and plays great already! 😄
Still believe there's tweaking to be done for the jump and graphics could use a repaint, but it's so good already! I played through it all!
Even all the weird levels you can find in the Dark world 😉 .
Hello. Thank you so much for your comment. This is the kind of thing we need to keep our motivation.
For the graphic part : at the beginning I (programmer) ripped all the graphics to make the forest. Then a graphic designer joined the project so it will get beter in the future. Also dark world does not have graphics yet (only colision data)
About the jump, how can we make it better in your opinion ? We tryed to replicate orignal game controls but it is the hardest part. We have come pretty close but still not perfect. (I don't know if we will ever reach perfection, as we do not have the original source code)
