DRIFTING IN SPACE is a ten-issue psychological sci-fi comic book series that blends the surrealism of cosmic horror with the grounded emotional stakes of a man struggling to hold his life together. The series follows Marcus Cole, a Black American man living in present-day Atlanta, Georgia, whose consciousness is violently pulled into the lives of his alternate-universe selves every time he falls asleep. Each issue drops Marcus into a radically different variant world — from thecrushing depths of an underwater oil rig to the boardrooms of a tech empire, from post-apocalyptic wastelands to the haunted spaces between life and death — only to snap him back to reality when that world shatters around him.
