I find the sols to be a bit annoying. Because the sols are placed where you died it means you have to choose where to die to chose their placement and there is no way to change their placement once set. It would be nice to be able to change their placement on the map even if it costs some Light essence. This is more annoying because of how fast their price ramps up.
