Those are Frostbloom flowers! They are rare (1/5 spawn chance per day), so you should definitely pick them up when you get the chance. When eaten, they remove all injuries and give a temporary speed boost, similar to Valerian plants. They're also worth a hefty amount of 10 reputation if you'd like to sell them to Tansyblade, or Red (who you will meet in Part 2) :]
