alright, i've mostly been putting this on the backburner working on https://itch.io/jam/housi-arena-2026

^ my time is dedicated to that rn, but it is only going to be until the rest of the month and my gamedev skills improved like 20x ... now i know how to work the engine enough to actually implement zipstyke with a godot frontend if i wanted to which would mean easy access to lower level opengl stuff & basically just have a smoother modern `PUI` instead of the default n/notcurses themed original (have had that godzz in mind for a while but rather focus on the fundamentals in the c code)

it may seem like i'm all over the place but i'm just playing catch-up with myself like i should have been proceeding fwd with this in 2016 AD not 2026 AD and everything that is being implemented now has simply been in seed form (unmanifested) for a decade but is now able to flow out somewhat

and playing games that are essentially the dopamine drip joy of balancing a spreadsheet...

next quarter: zipstyke goes to the races 🐎️
