I tried the game out on my phone and progressed through the story, is there any way I can transfer the data on my pc or do I have to start from scratch? Also, how do I update on a newer version without losing data? I haven't played a lot of games around here, sorry
You need to find the folder with your save files on your phone and transfer it to the folder with save files on your pc. It might corrupt the saves though.
The same logic goes for updating to the newer version. On pc you won't have problems since the save folder is the same between all versions. On mobile they are different. So you need to find the save files in the old version and transfer them to the new one.
