Thank you for your reply. I had read the PDF that was published on the KillCure account back when it was posted, and I shifted all my focus towards the exposed individual, considering it was someone I followed and "supported," I was extremely shocked by the events. I did not take the points added to the PDF regarding why it was being posted on the official account to heart back then, both because the callout itself was what left a bigger impact, and because I didn't know how genuine it truly was.
Unlike the reply made by "Naxzed," that ignored an entire paragraph I had added regarding Pj:EG, which I'd like to make clear once again...
I am not in any way trying to defend the awful people who got exposed from the Eden's Garden team, nor am I trying to advocate for Eden's Garden itself. To me, based on the leaks, the project coming to a halt was for the best. And to me, the post itself with the PDF was important to have been brought to light.
...Your reply took into consideration what I said, and explained the reasoning behind how you guys acted. Being able to converse directly like this and being told you guys took this step over the severity of the situation, with the intent on it reaching a big audience, and (based on your reply and the PDF) had nothing to win by a "cousin" project coming to a halt, is a relief.
Of course, hearing this from one of the directors makes it carry more weight; and regarding you citing my comment as being a conspiracy... we've sadly seen with Pj:EG that there's no way for others to be certain the individuals participating in a project are trustworthy or not, even when other people involved are innocent (this can be said for any type of team, formed by a big company or by fans). I believe it's fair for a consumer to have raised such doubt.
Still, having your role, I appreciate you taking your time to further empathize your points, and I believe this deepened explanation being available for other consumers, such as myself, to read if they check the itchio page with this subject in mind, is extremely important.
