Understanding is not the same as agreeing. Such as the saying, a team is only as strong as it's weakest link. Unless they are doing a tug of war, or something like that, such is not always the case. As in it's understandable, but is not a one fit all statement or idea. I can also understand the idea and appeal of a dictatorship. But I for one would not agree with such, ever. Sadly, too many actually do, as in they want to be one to everyone themselvs. Feel me?
