I want to note that this has been causing my entire screen to flicker. I know this is game is causing it because it only happens while the game is up and when the screen flickers back on, the game is closed. Everything else previously open is still open.

Since it is a Godot game, check out what dependencies the engine requires to run on a system. Its possible you somehow haven't gotten a dependency from playing other games on other platforms (ie Steam, GOG, Origin, etc)
