This is a speculation about the plot from one of my friends: The mother (evil Adeline) convinced Malice, and Malice took her to travel through time and space to a long time ago, triggering a cataclysm where all realities collapsed. This is what the mother calls the ancient faith, older than both the Sun God Cult and the Moon God Cult.
The mother doesn't have the ability to travel through time. She can only entice Malice to do this, in order to gather strength for herself now, so that she can take revenge on the player (dragon) (in the second cataclysm).
In the past, the Sun God and the Moon God fought a war, and ultimately, the Sun God emerged victorious, leading to the rule of the Dragon Race over the kingdom. However, numerous events transpired during this period, such as witches aiding Adeline's royal lineage in enslaving the Dragon Race, among others, all of which remain unexplained in detail.
By now, all the dragons have been killed by the Pale Assembly where the witch resides. Adeline brought you, the last dragon, to the world. You ran away and gave birth to Malice with some elf. However, in a parallel world, you also allowed the warlock to drain Adeline, creating "Monster Adeline", which is the future "Evil Adeline" (but she was brought back to the distant past by Malice).
So, the current situation is that someone is planning to trigger the second great cataclysm (most likely it's the mother), Malice can stop her, and the Pale Assembly intends to continue assassinating you.
