Hey thanks for letting us know. That's definitely a bug but not one we've seen before and we're not able to reproduce it ourselves...
I'd try disabling any browser extensions that could be interfering with the web page (e.g. an autoclicker) or trying in an incognito window with all extensions disabled
oh i was genuinely worried that this was intentional and i was missing something lol. originally the bug was happening on ecosia, but it's the same thing on google, firefox and the downloaded version. no extensions on any browser and closing the autoclicker (which is its own program) didn't change anything. i'm using an old computer with an intel core i5-8500 cpu and nvidia geforce gtx 1050 gpu, but this bug is also happening on my laptop (13th gen intel core i5-1334U cpu and intel iris xe graphics gpu)...
