Loreline Writer compatibility on Linux is still actively in the works. If the current AppImage packages (0.1.3) don't work for you on Linux yet, no worries, we will eventually make it work correctly in future updates, thanks for your patience!
Edit: The latest 0.9.0 release should have a wider compatibility on linux. You should try it!
