I am not experienced in using retro synths from older generation consoles, but your mix sounded clear and balance to me and if you were going for that older console sound I think you nailed it. Also I think your track captures your text description very well. I found the rhythm to be a bit confining though. I think your rhythmic flow has a fit in the right context so this is just my opinion. Everything felt like it as on an eighth note count and the percussion only played in unison with other instruments. If you haven't tried, maybe syncopate the percussion some in this context of having such a rigid rhythmic track. Also if you want to keep such a district eighth note feel, if you haven't tried playing around with pulling some notes off the grid a bit or playing with the velocity. Sorry if my comments are things you have already incorporated. I think you have a good track and a can convey a clear and atmospheric idea well! Thanks!
