Bro, do your own stuff your own IP, it is not fair to make fan games and asking for money, that is why companies like nintendo have a legal force because it is not fair, it is their work, they toke the hard task to make it relevant, you dont...

For me, these fan games have always been passion projects made by a solo indie developer alongside my original commercial work. For years I released them publicly for free, hoping the exposure would help support my original games and broader development work, but the reality was that thousands of people were downloading them while very few were supporting the work financially in any way.

At a certain point I had to prioritise sustainability and focus more on the community that actively supports me as a creator and helps fund the time, tools and development involved in making games overall.

I’m not claiming ownership of these franchises or presenting these projects as official products. They’re fan-made tributes created out of appreciation for the source material while I continue developing my own original IPs commercially as well. You have a right to support me or not and i have a right to share my works with who i want.
