I finished this game in one single sitting. I have some regrets, though; as I entered the latter half, I was in such a hurry to see how the story ended that I feel like I missed out on some of the emotional depth. For me, this was a truly, truly incredible game—it provided such a vivid sense of historical realism that it actually prompted me to brush up on my WWII history all over again.
Against that backdrop, the love between the characters became so impactful. I found myself thinking, "Did you really love each other this much?" while sitting there speechless in the face of the tragedy.
Was it a deliberate little touch by the author to have the German fire at the Japanese character? Ugh, it’s so frustrating—I love everyone, except for the one who pulled the trigger! QAQ
By the way, I also love UI very much. It's really clear for a free game
