Hey bro, my suggestion is that (if you can), make the Level Editor more similar to BB+'s Level Studio Mod, which is more simple overall.
I agree that the editor is outdated (since its development began back in 2023). However, it's too late to change it now, as doing so would require rewriting half the framework. (Which may result in all old levels no longer working.)
