I see no problem in that quite honestly. You expect that in real life a certain love interest will remain the same even after getting refused? Characters are more living if they are open to their surroundings.

it just feels extremely meh for gay vns cause it's always cross character sex. Like don't show that in game when it can ruin the experience. just going to fuck afterwards feels shitty for a story thats so well made in my opinion. Like i get irl is the same but come on. Gahel's love for him was extremely deep to the point of working just to be with his crush and now he just abandoned all of that to fuck someone else feels meh.
