It's actually the same Devs, if you spend a minute or two to look up all the links that the Dev's link to either through their patreon or substar, F98 or other sites that links them it's this page.
When the whole bullshit that Itch and the payment makers did where they nuked so many games The Devs did some rewriting and name change to basically try and keep the game here. Well it worked but they killed so much content, removed so much story and had to change everything so much that well it's not even the same game anymore.
