you can access your saves from previous versions and try to transfer them to the new versions, however it might not always work update-to-update due to something development wise; for example a stitch being added/removed, area encounters, etc.
I'm hoping to add another time-skip option like the v.03 time skip, although this is harder than it sounds especially with more and more content being added
