I wasn't of it, I'll be honest, I just marched through. Anyway, the "find what happened to these guys" simulator is sure interesting an idea, similar to crime scene cleaner stuff, but if with more puzzle elements could even be yet another game. "Return of the Obra Dinn" comes to mind, this has been done, but not like this.
