Thanks for checking it out. Good question—yes, you get a great success if you succeed with a swords card on an attack. Great Successes happen when the suit of your card matches the suit of the Test, and attacks are swords Tests. You don’t necessarily need a 14 though, because the target number = enemy’s initiative.
