OH. MY GOD. my partner bought this for me, and I'd like to say, this is AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE PRICE TAG. if not MORE. id gladly buy this a MILLION times over if i could i WISH i could hold this physically in my hands, i keep going back to re-read certain moments and everything.
I mean, the storytelling the author uses is amazing. the foreshadowing, the hints, all of it. the characters are really well fleshed out, complex, and really interesting, while being flawed and also so lovable. all of the symbolism is amazing and doesn't need to be overly explained to be understood, all it takes is a re-read to really get this all over again, it just seems to get better the more you notice from it.
the world building is really interesting as well. the supernatural side of it feels too real, in a way, and thats NOT a bad thing. its great, actually. even the way small side characters are written and shown adds to the world building and other characters. its just amazing really, i could go on for hours.
