Interesting game. Beautifil animations and art. Gameplay could use some work around the weapons and enemies, like the ranged options just feel way too clunky to use them, especially when it locks you from switching to your melee sometimes, worse when you get surrounded by rats; And the slimes could have some form of telephraged attacks(ex: they could momentarily glow or pulsate when about to attack) and the very small rats seem to be able to "dodge" your swings (hitbox/hurtbox not matching the visuals), lost 3 deep runs to that :/.
Also I like the hidden cave in the mine that you can find, although I only found it when I accidentally hit the wall trying to hit a rat, maybe use the skeletons parts as clues to more hidden spots?(Or something else more appropriate for it)
Also really like the Riya wolf character <3. But that's me being a sucker for canine characters XD.
Overall, pretty good demo I'd say. Looking foward to see what comes next and if opportunity rises, definitely gonna support. Good luck dev <3!
