The reason he couldn’t finish the remake was because the old code from act 1 was causing way too many bugs to appear any time he tried to add new content.
And he also said the new version should be back to where the old version left off in a few months. It may be longer since I doubt you can know these things for sure, but yeah it’s not gonna be 10 years or anything.
