Hey nice to meet you! I'm also looking for a partner and I think we'd be a great fit. I was also looking for someone to team up with but not just as a hobby or to learn, to form a long-term team to professionally develop commercial games on Steam together. Someone who really wants to make a living from this, already has experience making games, is committed, and wants to develop interesting games.
I’m 29 years old, a 3D artist with 6 years of experience in 3D art and one year working professionally at a studio. I have experience with stylized, realistic, and low-poly styles. I really enjoy experimenting and learning new styles, I don’t stick to just one. I consider myself someone with broad experience in all aspects of art. Although I’ve specialized in 3D, I’ve been drawing since I was a child, so I can also work on 2D art, 3D styles like handpainted where you need to know digital painting, UI, etc. I’m not a professional designer, but video game design is something I also really enjoy, I’m trying to educate myself and learn more on that area. I also have some marketing knowledge from my university days. I think we’d be a good fit since you’re primarily a programmer and I’m an artist, and we can complement each other in the other areas.
In short, I consider myself a person with a multidisciplinary mindset, and I strive to learn and improve every day. Which I honestly enjoy because I love creating art and video games. I’ve seen your game (love the simple aesthetic), and while it’s obviously 2D, it seems quite polished and has a clear direction, for me it showcases your skills. As I mentioned, my strongest area is 3D, I’m not sure if you want to focus solely on 2D games or if you’re open to 3D as well.
