I'm not entirely sure, but it's possible that your save files were corrupted. That could be why, when you tried to move on, you were sent back to the first day instead of progressing to the next one, as the game still considered you to be on day one
No need to worry I’ll be playing it again. It’s easy to play and i don’t lose much progress, anyway.
