Yeah, it’s actually not random at all 😄

I tried to make the food system loosely reflect real-life feeding behaviors, so different species have preferred food types depending on how they behave in nature.

For example:

  • Smaller or common fish like Goldfish, Tetras, and Angelfish eat flakes
  • Bottom feeders and heavier fish prefer sinking pellets
  • Some species (like Otos or Surgeonfish) eat algae
  • Predators like sharks or piranhas eat meat
  • Jellyfish and some exotic species feed on plankton-like food

So while it’s simplified for gameplay, there is logic behind it. ❤️

I wanted it to feel cozy and accessible, but still have that “oh, this actually makes sense” moment 🙂

That's so cool! I love it. I think it is a great game for aquarium lovers :)
