The upside down triangle with a cross through it is the alchemical symbol for earth, but idk the rest.

I'm relatively sure that the 4 symbols somehow decode into an alternate code for the console to get to the hidden lore book, but I can't decode it for the life of me.

Not going to spell it out, but imagine splitting each symbol in half vertically. It will make numbers.

let me know if y'all figure out the normal code for the maze area after clearing red gate i am completely lost on what the code could be i found 3 numbers which didnt help at al

For a hint regular code, the first number is in the journal, and the order of the other three is marked on them.

The alchemical sign is either a red herring or an accident. The symbols are numbers mirrored over a vertical axis.
