I just bought this since I really wanted to try it out, and after a bit this happened. Tried to reset, extract from the file download, and redownload the application from itch after deleting but nothing has been able to fix it. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this or has a solution.

I have this same problem.

I did find a hacky solution to this for all of us, when it reaches that status, literally delete the files located at %appdata%/Paradise/LocalStorage and then restart the program. I managed to get it back in working order just like that every time it crashes. At least thus far.
