I, as not a programmer at all, have to say what you have expressed is ignorant.
I would be surprised if 10% of the ones who download this game pay for it. Breadman and his team most likely work for pennies compared to what they put into this game. Bigger companies take years to make games for console and PC, why don't they just hire more people?
I am sure, that if enough people were to invest into the game, that breadman could quit their day job and invest all their time into this, and/or hire more people.
Its a free game, that the developer is actively responding to the community and making weekly updates. Do you know how often that happens? Not often at all. They should be given a round of applause. Not told to hire more people.
