Known bugs in v0.2.4.2, all fixed in v0.2.5
SAVES & STORAGE
- [foundby:almostamanda][foundby:Jürgen] Save reliability pass. (1) Saves in Firefox Private and Brave Shields silently failed because the IndexedDB write threw and short-circuited the localStorage mirror, so players lost their run on tab close. Both stores are now written independently and either success counts. (2) Auto-saves that still failed quietly now surface a toast after the third silent fail, and a startup banner warns up front when storage quota is suspicious (Chrome/Edge incognito, Safari Private, Brave). (3) Phone apps disappeared after Import Save on a different browser or a recovery load because the install flag only lived in localStorage, not in the save itself. v0.2.5 writes the flag into the save AND backfills legacy saves on first load, so currently affected runs heal automatically with no re-install
- Export Save on Android did nothing when you tapped the button. Now it opens the Android share sheet so you can save the backup to Drive, Files, email or Discord. If sharing is blocked, a panel shows up with the full save text and a Copy button
PHONE / MESSAGES
- MMS picture in messages would not open fullscreen. Viewer was wired up but had no CSS, so tapping a picture did nothing visible
- Stream tip totals were wrong: Ink tip variables were not observed, so on-screen counters did not update during a stream and the chat invented fake “tipped $X” lines that did not match the real total at the end
STORY FLOW / SOFTLOCKS
- Sleep dead-end on the Master-in-your-head dream (and the four sibling dream categories: Arousal, Femininity, Submission, Shame): screen froze on the dream image with only the Apartment recovery button working
- Sub 30 recognition milestone could dead-end the story; now flattened to the standard single-Continue pattern
- Exhaustion blackout during an SMS or GrindrR date wedged every future forced event, 23 pending in one report. Also explains the “image at top, rest black” Day 11 screenshots
- [foundby:Batl.leess] Prologue scenes wiped each other from the story panel; on small or landscape windows you could not scroll back to earlier beats
- Master “My apartment. Now.” SMS fired every time you tapped his apartment-hub encounter button (you are already there)
LOCALIZATION
- Salon and other priced shop choices showed “${hair_price}” or “{Energy < 20: …}” instead of resolved values in non-EN locales
- Story Log and Journal tabs stayed in English on non-EN locales (45 keys added across all 7 languages)
- Main menu rendered with English fallback on first paint when a non-EN language was saved
- Spanish proofreading pass: 78 entries refined; long-standing two-records-per-line corruption repaired across every language
AUDIO / UI
- BGM and SFX volume sliders sometimes silently ignored on iOS Safari and after tab-switches; updates now apply instantly even at 0%
- First-launch popups consolidated from 3 stacked dialogs (language, age warning, analytics) into one Welcome modal
- [foundby:Joe] Choice Energy badge showed the base cost only. Arousal penalty + HRT irritability + Drunk numbness silently inflated the real cost, players blacked out mid-action thinking they had headroom
CONTENT FIXES
- [foundby:Joe] Maid Victor after-hours scene secretly charged another 15 Energy on top of a paid shift, easy blackout
- Bar stockroom and floor switch replayed the full first-shift inspection scene every time
- Achievement audit: 11 achievements were either unreachable or unregistered (First Date, Online Presence, the four max-tier apartment upgrades, Angel/Patreon, plus the maid cafe, prologue, flat cage and DareMe unlock sites)
