I never write anything, but this narration really did make me feel a lot of emotions. From my perspective, the player is in such a delusional state of obsession that there truly is no other choice except the ones his warped mind already decided. There is no good ending, because the mc is so far gone, that no matter if there was a different choice on how to approach things, it did not seem like the plausible thing to do from the point of view of his fucked up mind. I am only saying this because I have had relationships like this, where rejection lead to extreme denial and threatening situations, so this is one game that I felt truly disgusted by because I went through something similar to Maddie, with this abhorrent, illogical, behavior.
I saw another comment comparing this game to Butterfly, which I also played, which was an impactful experience, but with this story in particular, it kind of gave off the impression that there was no alternative choice, except the mentally ill ones... which forces you to give in to those thoughts- just like addiction.
