I actually don't know any tattoos that look like joints, unless you count a full bodysuit that has doll joint patters, other than that, I have no idea

Well, such tattoo do exist. In plenty o'variations. Quite painful spots for a tattoo, I must say. But looks impressive. Might go with some thematic cosplay or so. Anyway, I'll add it to ideas list.
