hard agree!! i feel like it's so well suited to text, like the dos formatting and the fact that you only have vague sound files... honestly i'm an artist and i love art in video games, and this is one of the few cases where i think it would lose a lot of the atmosphere and emptiness with art. i really prefer the roottrees steam version because the art style suits the story very well, and it's an inherently visual based game. for this, though, i feel like even really if it was simplistic limited palette obra dinn-style art that would be pushing it... i'll buy it bc i wanna support the dev's insanely good writing but. i have a feeling type help is very solidly going to remain the optimal version lol
