This takes what I loved about edition one and mixes it with the boosts in procedures from edition 2 with even more and interesting backgrounds. This is my favorite cairn edition i think by far. the pure minimalism without the art is awesome. I liked the art a lot in edition 2e, but the style of it was less gritty than i imagined my character backgrounds to look like, versus this style lends itself perfectly to a gritty dungeon crawl!
