So I am having a problem verifying the certificate. I put in the policy number and the death certificate ID number and then click verify and it tells me I need to fill out the other information but it will not let me click on or interact with anything else. I think there is a bug.

First of all, I’m really impressed that you managed to log into the Evertrust desktop app—that already shows you’ve nailed a big part of it. Congrats!
I’m pretty sure you’re getting the error: “Verify the filled details first.” Most likely, one small detail got missed. In the manager’s room letter, it mentions that your character’s name is Ethan Cole, and his nameplate is placed on his workstation in the Claim Department.
I’m guessing you might be going straight to the server room computer with the claim form, without verifying it first on Ethan’s workstation in the Claim Department. You should only go to the server room to print the death certificate after the claim form has been approved.
If you haven’t done that step yet, this should help you a lot. You’re actually very close to triggering the abnormal events inside the office.
