It’s a pretty solid game overall.
The art and atmosphere feel cozy and peaceful (even with the flying ufos, lol). That said, I think the visual coherence could be stronger if the background matched the pixelated, rasterized style of the hands. Right now, it feels like a stub concept picture.
The gameplay is simple but still manages to be challenging and engaging, largely thanks to the additional mechanics layered in. It kept me entertained for a good 15...20 minutes, which speaks well to its design.
The sound design is spot-on. The angry mumbling after that lost is a brilliant touch, you can’t make out the words, but you instantly understand exactly what he’s saying, haha.
