This just recently happened and I have no idea why. I 100% have a WebCam connected and to prove that it is online and working I pulled up OBS and created a video capture device for it just to show that there is in fact a WebCam. For some reason vTuber kit refuses to pick it up even though I’ve had this application for like a month with no issues. I even went to the point where I erased all the data of my avatar and everything because that’s what it said if I was having persistent bugs and I’ve deleted the program and reinstalled it and it’s still not working. The python face tracker is allowed to access my camera and I don’t if vTuber kit is supposed to ask to access my camera as a separate entity but if it is it’s not. I go into the camera to check what has access to my camera and what is requesting access and it’s not there only the face tracker is.

In case anyone is finding this, I fixed it sort of. The problem seemed to be caused by the programs required for the meta quest two. I deleted the meta software as well as the oculus software and then had to go into files and delete

C: (Program Files \Oculus

C:\Program Files (x86) \Oculus

C: (Users|<YourUser>\AppData\Local\Oculus

C: \Users|<YourUser>\AppData\Roaming\Oculus

because for some reason that doesn’t automatically delete.

I have no idea why these programs are not compatible, but it seems like they’re not.

Was there a way you found out what software was causing this issue? I don't have the Oculus files but I'm wondering if anything else I have could be causing problems.

Nvidia Broadcast was known to cause issues, if I remember correctly. Not sure if it'll help in this particular case though.

Running the program as admin helped fix it for me!

You right click on the "vTuber Kit.exe" > Properties > Compatibility > Then check "Run this program as an administrator".
