Hello there unknown hermit!
I just found out about this!!!!! I had a shitty computer and was saving for a new one, and of course it was so broken I couldn't really download anything on it. I just got my new one and I come to find this when I remember to play YAH, I feel like this happens very time I love something. I knew I felt creativity and care once I found this game, but like very time when something is made by a one person army (Thank for your hard work BTW) SOMEONE HAS TO CALL IT "CRINGE" OR "STUPID" LIKE A WHINY BRAT THAT HAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO! I'm so sorry that most of your audience is feed on work made by producers that bark at each other about politics, and by people that water down the creators vision for "relatability." Being feed that makes people not used to genuine work that comes from the heart of the creator and makes them think it's "weird."
Anyways, sorry for that rant that's just my opinion and I hope someday you feel more confident to share your awesome work more publicly. I want for your mental health get better after all this unneeded hate, and for your cutie of a cat help you get there. I love your work and sorry for posting this late you deserve all the support you can get. I can't wait to see you build a high enough wall for these rotten tomato flinging losers to not be able to reach you and your cool visual novel children, but please take all the time you need getting there don't feel pressured.
