thank bro!!! here it is :D

(thankyou.n64, by yours truly)

"Today I received an email.

An email from an online friend.

He passed away a few days ago.

I still miss him.

The email itself contained a .n64 file, named 'thankyou.n64'.

Soon, I found out it was a ROM hack of Super Mario 64.

Curious, I decided to try it.

I spawned into a concrete pathway in the void.

No title screen, no UI, nothing.

Mario himself also looked slightly...off.

The color of his clothes were darker, and he was always...happy?

There was also this hole next to spawn (Mario was facing towards it), but for whatever reason, I didn't enter.

I decided to move forward until i found...a sign?

Curious, I decided to read it.

'Hello, Garrett.', it said.

After that, I kept moving forward until i found...another sign.

'I want to tell you something.", it said.

After walking a bit, I found another sign.

'Thank you.', it said.

'Thank you for making me smile. Thank you for the fun memories you gave me. Even in my darkest times you were there for me, Garrett.'

After a little bit of walking, I found the final sign.

'Thank you', it said.

After reading the final sign, the screen faded to white.

A heavenly tune started playing as a render of Mario flying next to the sun started appearing on screen, with text saying 'THANK YOU' as well.

I have no idea what to say.

..."
