Yo, yeah manually downloading fonts has been a thing since at least my initial download in 1.01 so it is at least known. As for the shortcut, I had no problem with it on my laptop but I did have to route the shortcut to the actual application in 'The Labyrinth' folder on my desktop so it's different per system? I dunno if that's the issue you're experiencing but if it is, it's at least a simple fix
